These books are printed to order! That means, it can take anywhere from 7-14 days for it to arrive, depending on how backed up the printer gets! If you’re pre-ordering, Amazon has a better track record for books arriving closer to the release date, where Barnes & Noble and Bookshop.org will potentially take up to a week.
This is a complicated question.
The profit per book from each of the above sources is approximately the same upfront, but long-term, purchasing on Amazon is better for me. This is because Amazon is the #1 bookseller in the world, and the more purchases I get on Amazon, the more highly-ranked my listing is, which puts me in front of more potential purchasers!
If you just don’t want to feed the Amazon Monster, then either Barnes & Noble or Bookshop.org is a great option!
